Why can't this function come to the Edge 1000? Will it ever come? Do they still care about these users anyway?

Ok, but the Edge 1000 has a WiFi-connection. When you start from home you can connect to the internet, calculate a route in the cloud and send the result to the GPS. No processing power needed from your device. Isn't that a solution?
