There is an alpha 9.35 which resolve those draining issue for many users...
Post upgradation of Epix 2's software version to 14.31 observing abnormal battery drop.
Battery drained from 45% to 8%. (5 hours 29 minutes)

AMOLED is different tech - each pixel you use needs to be lit up (except black - those pixels are off - and why you use black watch faces) with uses battery, and why generally you use them in AOD off, or if you have AOD on they move to an ambient watch…
Battery Drains up to 10% per Hour with Beta Software 17.16. Restart of the watch works.
So since one of the 18.xx Updates, the battery drain is still horrible. There are days when i think its better and some days its worse.
