my Supershieldz 955 protector came in the mail today (a week earlier than expected). the fit is excellent

that being said, i didn't perfectly center it with my not super steady hands. i probably should have used some old stickers to lower it carefully…

Is a protector needed on a sapphire glass? It shouldn't be easy to scratch it and if you hit it really hard with an object, so it shatters, does a protector help?

I'm not poking, I'm just interested, since I'm waiting for a F5 Sapphire too and I…

I'm having a lot of headache trying to solve it with Garmin. Their Customer Service in Europe is pretty bad and slow... It's a shame a company like Garmin has such a horrible custom service. It's been now two weeks I sent them the device and I'm still…

    Hi,

I did log this last week and had an email acknowledgement but no follow up as yet.

The screen on my epix 2 is completely blank. There are no physical marks or cracks and it’s not been knocked about, I just glanced at the watch and noticed the screen…

Corning's Gorilla glass is scratch resistant and not scratch proof. My cell has Gorilla glass and has been dropped from 25 feet plus several times (I work in a tower truck) without cracking, but I have several scratches on it. If you think you may be…

That happened to my Garmin Swim watch. If still under 1 year from purchase, it should be under warranty. Contact Garmin as suggested and likely ship you a replacement. If over 1 year, they usually will offer you to buy the replacement at a discount (in…

I rinse in cold water after swimming, and use a tiny amount of hand soap after I sweat during a workout. I have had a film protector since I got it 10 months ago. It has some small scuffs from daily use and the charging clip, but it looks fine and I can…

I am quite baffled by Garmin's decision to opt for a convex screen for obviously design reasons. Samsung did this a while with their Edge-line.

Known drawbacks of curved screens are:

    - They crack a bit easier due to unequal force distribution on impact…

A huge shock on a hard rock with rugged surface and sharp edges could lead to a scratch, but I do not believe that hitting an aluminium stage even with a big force would scratch sapphire. The glass would rather break, or develop some cracks, not scratches…
