First see if you can force it into mass storage mode. If you can see if anything is in the NewFiles folder. If so remove those files and see if it will boot up.

Try forcing it into mass storage mode.
Once mounted to the computer look in the Garmin\NewFiles folder. Delete anything that might be there. Disconnect from the PC and see if it starts.

You need to get the unit mounted back to the computer as a device/drive and delete the files from the Garmin\NewFiles folder.
If it will not mount when you connect it to the computer try.

If you can mount to PC have look in the Garmin\NewFiles folder, if there is anything in there then delete it and see if the unit then restarts after disconnecting from the PC.
You may need to force it into mass storage.

Hold the power button for around 15-30 seconds until it shuts down.
Then force it into mass storage (see below). Once connected to your PC delete the GUPDATE.GCD file from the Garmin folder.
Next sync again with Garmin Express to download the update file…
