I did not notice one way or the other. I get lousy batter life. I record lots of activities and only get 2-3 days out of charge.

I agree. Battery life is very bad compared to version 4.00. On version 4.00 I could almost go a full week without charging.
I wish I could downgrade..
Unbelievable
Ok, did you try to hard reset the watch?
It helped in many situations I read (especially after firmware update), in my case it's probably the reason why is my V2 charging a little bit faster (charging time decreased by 25%).
I followed…

I can confirm that a factory reset made from smartwatch menu with the Venu connected to an USB cable for charging seems to solve the problem.
yesterday I charged the watch while it was at 50% and today it took 24 hours to discharge from 100% to 75%. I don't understand this battery of mine.
Mine has been better since i did this, i also powered the watch off afterwards and on again, it is now on 80% since coming off charge on Tuesday.
Do you remember how many % battery remaining before this happened? Would it be due to fast battery drains so the battery empty until it couldn’t charge again (below threshold).
Similar issue with my Vivoactive 4, was getting 4 to 5 days on a charge but now only getting 2 to 3 days. Issue started last update, SW 6.4.
Until this morning watch worked fine. When charging the watch received an update which deactivates the sensors again. It seems that the sensor fix patch gets overwritten by other update.
That’s unbelievable, it’s a great improvement. I am on similar settings , even lower brightness. Perhaps I should charge it again and try software update and see what happens. Thanks
