Testing, I charge 100%. I already tell you somethingI just got my watch yesterday, fully charged it, and had to charge it up today already. So I'm commenting to stay in the loop of this issue. Makes the watch fairly unusable.

It saved my swim workout but then when looked at watch screen later it was blank (black) and tried restarting but wouldnt turn on and tried charging, even though it had plent of charge remaining.
After charging the smartwatch to 100%, it resumed normal brightness.
