Hybrid Metal Bracelet Adjustment

Just a quick question.. I have all the tools to do adjustments myself, however what I cant seem to "see" online is how the internal rubber on the inside is adjusted? It appears online as if its a solid ring all on the inside of the band? So.. removing a link, would mess this up?

Can anyone confirm that for me?

Thanks so much for this. Yes, I found this link on google before posting. What I was wondering tho, is I understand how to remove links etc.. but, what about the rubber inside part of the band? It looks like it runs all along the inside of the band? Do you need to cut this to then fit after resize? Or, is this a non issue when you remove links and it just "works" as you remove / resize?

My gut instinct is that it would be apparent when you are actually removing the links. My own observation of the hybrid band, Isn't the silicone side attached to each individual link? That was my impression handling the MARQ Driver hybrid band.

I was also struggling with that ... never got it perfect. But following the link I saw :

'Add +1 mm links for micro adjustments'

What are those and were can I get them?

DerechteKlinke - I checked your countries Garmin warehouse and there is a Hybrid Link Kit you can buy if you reach out to Outdoor Product Support. In general, as long as you keep all links removed when resizing it, you won't have any issues adding back to the band.

Thought I would update, I ended up buying the regular bracelet that comes with the Aviator. This one has screws for the links.. and in person, once fit is really amazing. Just like the one on my Omega Seamaster, with less weight on the arm! Truly so nice.

Sorry for the late reply ... I was in Norway for some time. Just checked the German warehouse and there is no Hybrid Link Kit at all I can choose and buy. I can find the Hybrid Band - but that's it. Would you have a link that shows the kit please?!

Did you manage to find the +1mm links for the band? I need some for my new Athlete which ahs the Hybrid band fitted. Thanks

Checking our warehouse inventory in your country, I see the MARQ Driver hybrid band kit with the red silicone inside the band. The kit comes with extra pins, a few metal links and a few red inside silicone links. The full Hybrid Titanium band is available too.
