Hi
Anyone else noticed the numbers on the inner bezel on the MARQ Captain (Gen 2), makes no sense. No help in manuel either.
They goes like this: 10 - 14 - 16 - 15 - 17 - 19 - 25 - 21 - 19 - 17 - I - 09
@Garmin?

@Garmin?
If these instructions given do not make sense, you are welcome to send me a Private Message and I will be happy to learn more for you but it will take time.
When the MARQ (Gen 2) Captain was released,…
The inner display numbers represent the wind in knots for sailing only. When the color turns from white to turquoise, it represents more ideal conditions to sail. The wind speed for ideal sailing is a setting…
Update: the colors of the numbers on the inside bezel do make sense: when you go into this watch face settings, you can adjust preferred wind speed. The colors pick up this setting. So if you set it to…
That’s how it’s working. It’s a great feature. Suggestion, I’m 50km away from the ocean/marina. Would be great if I could have the dial representing the wind speed at the coast, not my home.
how frequently is this information updated?

In the menu of the Garmin Connect app go to Settings » User Settings » Weather Location and enable the option Use Fixed Location, where you enter a location close to the coast (preferably near an airport, because the majority of Garmin's weather data comes from airport meteo stations).
how frequently is this information updated?
Every 20 minutes at most, as long as the Location services on the phone are enabled, and there is a data link.

Thx for helping out trux! Much appreciated.
The sections around your bezel are representing the next hour. Each section that turns turquoise represents those periods of time that are ideal wind conditions for you when sailing.
Could you please explain how to read the wind data, using my photos as an example?
Should I use the numbers on the besel as the period of time - next hour, two, three and so on, or is it the time of day - 1 am or 1 pm, 2 am or 2 pm etc.?
As you can see, it is now 8:49 pm. If I understand correctly, the 5 knot wind will start blowing 8 hours later (at about 5 am) and will continue for the next 6 hours (until about 11 am the next day).
In the Weather application, where the data comes from, I see completely different information. It looks more like the 5 knot wind started blowing at 8pm and will continue until 2am. So, it seems that the numbers on the bezel show the time of day, not the following time periods.
