Elevation issue with Garmin Instinct

The elevation tracking has become totally useless. After about 20 minutes of use, the elevation starts jumping wildly. My last bike ride should have reported about 600 ft total ascent. It actually reported 10,968 feet. I don’t believe I could do that during an hour and 10 minute bike ride

I am experiencing the same problem after several months of use (bike rides and hiking). By bike rides of about 700 m ascent are reported as 11.000 m... #everesting

Same issue - gained 200m in about 20min (you’d laugh if you knew how I rode) the other day. A ride I did recently, my Instinct reported almost 1300m of elev gain - strava corrected it to 300m. There was a thunderstorm brewing that day though, not sure if that had anything to do with it…
