I have two issues with vertical speed:
1. Is it possible to display the vert. speed without starting an activity? I could only set it in the different activities, but not in any standard setting. The reason is that i sometimes makes multi-day tours without possibility of charging the watch. In activity mode the GPS is running...
2. The vertical speed shows the ascent per hour, but it is measured continuously. The display jumps to impossible values, if I hike up at constant speed (going from 150m/h to 1000m/h within a minute...). Is it possible to define the time span, on which the average vertical speed is calculated? e.g.: display 400m/h, which is the average value over the last 5 min.
