Critical Bug: Navigation Restart Watch

Hi all,

anyone experience an issue while starting any activity and using then navigation function in FW 9.20?

Mine watch and some people from this post happens the same: https://www.facebook.com/groups/268267203866530/permalink/563439921015922/

Without navigation I can resume and finish my activity after reboot with navigation.

Yep, I had a ton of issues with this over the weekend. I'm currently working with the Support folks, though they don't seem to have any solid answers.

I think it might be tied to the "50 course points exceeded" notification, is anyone having this restarting issue and NOT having the "50 course points exceeded" warning?

I am. Not exceeding 50pts. I had this issue back when 9.20 was in beta. Notified Garmin via beta email. Constantly reboots during navigation. I down graded back to 8.70 and works fine.

Well, what I can say is that i already had TONS of reboots during navigation on 8.70. NOT before that.

So after releasing last beta it suppose not to be resolved there. Even worst I see one post after another that not only in navigation mode watches of users restart but even just in activity without navigation

Where? Did not see anyone with the latest beta firmware complaining about reboots, except of one user (Alfa) who apparently has a hardware issue, not related to the navigation.

That's still the same user I already mentioned (alfa). A single case, and apparently a hardware problem of a faulty unit. No other reports about reboots due to navigations whatsever, since the release of the fix in the beta v9.9x
