Instinct controls menu screen symbol

On the controls menu screen at about the 7:00 o'clock position there is a symbol that that is a narrow rectangle about 1/4 inch

long that projects towards the center of the screen. It does not rotate with the menu symbols when rotating thru the options. It does not show

on any other screen that I have found so far. Can anybody advise me as to what it's for, or does?

Next time please send a screenshot. So far I have never seen this situation, because I never have so many controls selected. I had to add them to see what are you talking about.

It's just a graphical means to "hide" the control icons that won't fit on the screen. You'll see the hidden control icons appear from behind the rectangle as you rotate through the controls.
