Connection problem: Instinct to Garmin Connect Android app

I've posted a question in the Garmin Connect Android App thread which is basically about not being able to connect my Instinct to my phone, having previously had them paired and for various reasons, had to unpair them. Any advice would be welcome here, or over in the main post. Thanks.

I have finally solved it! Or at least, it now works after trying the following:

1. install Garmin Connect on a super new phone (borrowed in my case)

2. the connection worked! So I synced it.

3. uninstall…

I had issues with sync when instinct memory was full with activities log, try to cleanup, hope it will help.

Interesting. How do I clear/active 'stuff' off my watch? What do you lose by doing that?

I have finally solved it! Or at least, it now works after trying the following:

1. install Garmin Connect on a super new phone (borrowed in my case)

2. the connection worked! So I synced it.

3. uninstall Garmin Connect from the super new phone, now that I feel more confident that it's not the watch at fault

4. switch on my old phone (Android 4.4 by the way) and it's connected!

5. wait a few minutes while it syncs the data and now it all seems to be OK

6. cross my fingers it keeps working!
