I came here hoping to find a post-update fix for the Garmin Instinct Tactical Solar shutting off randomly. Looking at the rest of the posts which are all getting locked against additional comments (since occurrence is "rare") has taken that hope away.
Hoping it isn't an expensive paperweight at this point? Watch was fantastic while it worked but a year in and the new software update has gutted my use of it. Shuts off during runs which is apparently a new awesome feature - you just guess what your pace, distance, location, and heart rate is rather than - use the device you bought to monitor those things. Best thing is now it's starting to forget what time it is. So.... what gives?
And please support - we all know how to hard reset a device and do it before we look to the forums. I am not a difficult customer but I am a REALLY disappointed one.
