My Garmin Instinct Solar.,keeps shutting down with 73% power and 21 days battery life.

The watch only activates again once charger is plugged in. How do I correct this problem as I need to record my race progress

Try disabling the vibrations in the settings. A faulty vibrator can draw excessive current and cause this effect, when there is an alert coming.
