I have Instinct solar, two walking activities were fine 1.1. but 2.1. the activities were already 600 m further from the point of switching on. GPS searches for a signal for a very long time. I have GPS set up, I try GPS + Glonas, I use it in the mountains, it's much more accurate than just GPS. The girlfriend has Vivoactive 4S and she has inaccuracies since 1.1. We started from the same place and she started 500 m elsewhere, the routes met up to 1 km! I also have an expired CPE.
3/1/2021 Update - the issue seems to be gone...
Thanks, that's good to know. After I do a 1+ hr activity, mine shows current too, but by the next morning, it's expired again...not helpful to have a current CPE after an activity I also deleted the remoteSW file yesterday, and resync'd to garmin express, but that didn't help. So, as I just now finished a 2hr activity, it's "current".. But will likely be expired tomorrow. Thanks for the info!
