Instinct 2 solar charging - how many % battery level increase?

I did one more test during 1020-1150 and the results are:

15 min +0:30%
30 min +0:30%
45 min +0:60%
60 min +0:91%
75 min +1.21%
90 min +1:51%
105 min +1:51%
120 min +1:51%

From the above, I think we can conclude that we had 0.30% increase per 15 min. Thus, the previous result of 0.29% is consistent.

So 2 testcases : 0.29-0.30% & 0.44%

• 45 min +2.38%
• 60 min +2.77%
• 75 min +3.56%

Power safer mode ?

No, my normal mode with Horizon watch face, connected to phone, heart rate on, pulse ox off

But the watch was below 30% at the beginning, maybe that made the difference

I have made a similar test with mine. It took 30 min to get +1% of battery. Sun intensity was 100% at noon. 90 degree angle to the sun and direct exposure. Outside temp was around 10degC. I am living in Paris but it is winter here so the sun is not very high.

1. Is your watch Garmin instinct 2 with firmware 10.10?

2. From your data, the maximum 15 minute increase is 1.19 (The maximum from 1.19, 0.39, 0.80, 0.39, 0.79, 0, 0.4, 0), which is a lot.

So this was with the initial battery level of < 30%.

What was your initial battery level of your first test?

3. My initial battery level was always < 20%.

I will try to test again with more battery level...

But actually 'Yeti's battery app' is also a nice name, maybe for a mountenering app.

Hi, went from 48 to 49. As for now trying to avoid installing additional apps as you never know how it was coded and how fast it drains the battery. I am an adept of minimal setup, so staying with basics.
