Map updates - Map Sync fails

I've been trying to update my maps on device via Map Manager, but unfortunately it always ends up with a Map Sync Failed when I put it on the charger. It successfully updates my Spotify playlists so I know the WiFi connection is working, but even after resetting the watch it continues to have the issue. Anyone else have this problem or is this just mine?

The Maps are TopoActive North America and CourseView Americas. Watch is Fenix 7S, running the latest software (17.23)

Initially, I would recommend trying these steps:
- Ensure the watch software is on the latest version, using Garmin Express.
- Ensure you are trying Garmin Express to update/download the mapping.
- Try a factory…

Tried using Garmin Express and a computer? I always find it much more reliable

For me it is not acceptable that this issue is not solved for months! Some WATCHES may work, but a lot of watches dont!

Where did you get these statistics? There are x million watches sold, and there are a few reports of this problem here in a forum whose nature is that complaints are frequent.

CT will not solve your problem.

And I want to have a failure free watch, if I pay more than 500 €!!! And dont be blaimed that I am to stupid to use the Watch!

An attempt: connect the watch to the computer, delete the file "garmindevice.xml" via the windows file explorer.
Remove the watch from the computer and restart the watch.
Problem solved ?
If not, reconnect the watch to the computer and synchronize the watch once with Express.

If not, contact Garmin Support.
