I too would really like a Fenix LTE version - it would be a very welcome addition to the safety features (which currently only only works when connected to a phone) - and I think most Fenix owners are not constraining themself to running track, but are out there, where those safety features potentiel can save life.

The safety aspect often comes up, also with mobile phones and implantable trackers. We are so repeating what ads tell us that we don't think anymore and don't embrace disconnecting. While I understand that these options are needed and have their use case, I see the devices already available.
Still it feels like no-one does want to take responsibility for themselves. Humanity does not have cell coverage for long and still managed before. Now everytime something happens, someone must be responsible to correct my mistake. Like saving me from an avalanche that I myself caused.... Just care more for what you do and take responsibility.
Ever heard of an esim? Duh.
Possibly because you are? I did a quick google search for the same thing and this not-so-helpful post was one of the first hits.
DDion Well...great minds think alike...
It appears you're a proefficient (skilled) Google searcher. I don't get what made you stop to search a little bit further about eSIM technology. Let me add the following comment to help next skilled Google searcher hanging out on the NET.

Indeed, an eSIM consists of a software installed, but still requires hardware part as it needs to be installed onto an eUICC chip that's part of the device. As to my past & current knowledge the F7 does not have this part installed.
