Tactix 7 owners: have you seen it - when will v9.33 be released?

So, the Big Update is finally upon us, and Reddit claims 5% of users already got it as does the newly minted top forum page.

Per Garmin explanation for why there's no beta for Tactix 7:

For new software updates, the Tactix 7 will receive new official software updates at the same time as our Fenix 7 and Epix 2 series watches do.

I've checked with Garmin Express just now: nada. 

Anybody with Tactix 7 got the update? Any idea what the rollout schedule for Tactix devices is?

    Will there also be a separate changlog for the  Tactix watches?

    It's actually annoying now... My epix is updated, but switching between the Tactix and Epix isn't working well together, for suggested workouts and metrics in general

    Patience is a virtue.  Or just be prepared to be annoyed for at least another week - or until the end of the month...

    Still nothing, I'd be really interested to know what's going wrong there. I'm curious how that will be with the next big update, if it comes at all for the Tactix 7...

    Paid extra to get a better watch but at the back of the que for firmware updates. Wish I kept my 7x

    I got the T7 becuase it was the only F7 type watch that had the best hardware without the ugly solar ring. The slowness of the updates is very frustrating especially as we were promised it would come out on the same day as the F7 models. Clearly that hasn't happened and it worries me about the future if theT7 is left behind.

    I got it for exact same reason - better readability, but I won't get next Tactix in a future line with this progress. If Garmin release some 7X device like Enduro 2 without solar and preferably with gorilla glass, I will be getting that. I hope for something like 7X plus. Lets see if they release firmware this week at least. Its frustrating. I do run and sport all the year, but summer is almost over and I really look forward for new firmware features. I was one of the first buyers of T7 in a country, and I have a question on a salesman. "Will be there a beta for a T7 as on 7X?" and I've got positive answer... Maybe I will do better if I just get 7X instead.

    I get that some of us are desperate to get the 9.33 update for our Tactix. I was thinking about this yesterday and thoughts went this way as I thought about the delay.

    I bought the Tactix 7 because it is / was a great watch with all the features I needed. It still is. I didn't buy it knowing there was a 9.33 release coming with a whole range of new features. 

    Many years ago I bought a Suunto Sport Ultra - I bought thinking that was the finished watch - it cost enough. That watch had so many issues at first and the updates sometimes helped improve sometimes made it worse. It was a terrible year or two with Suunto and forums burned with emotion. It helped me switch to Garmin after being a Suunto loyal for 15 years.

    I'm happy to wait until its right. My Tactix 7 does what I need. And today Apple launch a new Pro watch and given they are good at slick features and an integrated eco system I may consider the apple instead of Garmin, Maybe, big maybe. But if I had 9.33 I might not be considering as much. Garmin missing their timings but they probably have the majority of Garmin users covered (all those with Fenix 7).

    Happy to wait.
