Have previously had a normal 6s (without solar and sapphire)? Are there differences in contrast or readability of the display?

I used a 6 pro for a brief period and this base 7s screen feels a bit more reflective, but I'm not having any issues with readability, and it doesn't bother me. I did try out the black solar 7 and I thought it was much harder to read. Not sure if that has to do with the power glass coating but it's why I went with the 7s.

Yes I'm afraid so too, that's why I'd rather have one without solar.
On the 1-2 days extra power and the ugly solar ring I can do without.
