Charging Screen

Hi all! During the last 2 times I charged my watch I noticed that the charging screen has changed from the past. It looks like the picture below

Was it introduced in the new update (I'm on FW 9.0.0)? Or it's a setting and I can have the old back?

    Settings->USB Mode

    Setting to Garmin will just charge the watch and you can use it as normal, MTP mode will display the full screen charging and allow you to connect to the watch from the computer.

    I don't have a standard USB charger nearby but it may be because you don't charge through the computer which will put it in Garmin mode anyway.

    Garmin mode will allow you to charge the watch while in an activity which may be useful for long activities.

    That's how  things look when you're plugged into a wall charger.  If you're seeing it when plugged into a computer, you're cable may not be connected all the  way or the contacts are dirty.  Maybe use something like a q-tip to clean the contacts or wiggle the cable to make sure it's seated correctly.

    I see. I charged it with the pc while it was off last time (but the USB are still powered) and now it's indeed charging on a wall charger. Thanks a lot for your inputs!
