Fenix 5 with frozen screen and lines. Soft reset does not fix.

Fenix 5 screen frozen with lines. Will power off and back on but screen stays the same when back on. Online chat with customer service rep said it’s “met the end of its life expectancy” and that they are only expected to last 2-3 years, sorry!

Any thoughts or suggestions? Sure would like it to last longer than a few years for the price we pay!

Sorry to see that. Similar to this thread - My display is not working. It is frozen with vertical lines

Garmin won't fix it, but as recommended, might be possible to receive a recertified watch at a discount. But you'll need to contact Garmin again by phone to clarify what options you have.

Your Fenix 5 tracks back to June 11th, 2019. I am sorry you have the issue. It will need to be replaced since your display has failed.
