TOTALS GONE overnight with Latest Update-Garmin 15.40! How do I get them back?

My Fenix 5s Plus updated to 15.40 overnight which has caused my TOTALS to be GONE! 
I WANT my totals back-anyone know what to do?
I’ve synced with my laptop a couple of times as well as the Garmin Connect app on my phone-totals on the watch itself are still NO SHOW! Rage

    I have connected and synced with my laptop a couple of times and synced with the Garmin Connect app on my phone-to no avail!
    PLEASE someone for the love-tell us a SOLUTION for recovering our TOTALS!!! 

  • DANG!! I HATE to hear that!!

    I spent a great deal of time in a chat with Garmin Customer Support. He tried to help and said he and a support team are looking into it-said they were trying to see if this issue had happened before. I said I knew it had happened before b/c I searched and found questions here about it. 
    Ultimately, they asked me to send screenshots and a file from Garmin Express. I’m waiting to hear back on what can be done if anythingShrug tone2

    I’ll post here IF they are able to resolve the issue to let others know!

    We are investigating this report, thanks for bringing it to our attention. First, a question: are all totals now missing? Or is it limited to either weekly, or monthly, or just one month, etc?

    Second, can you try something for me? If you go to Menu - Settings - System - Format - Start of the week - change this from your current selection to another day. Then check totals again - is there any change? Does any data return?

    I did NOT initiate the update-woke up to check my watch and screen showed latest Update Installed.

    Individual Activities and Details still there

    i spent AWHILE in a chat with Tom from Garmin this morning, sent screenshots and a Garmin Express file by email after the chat. I’m waiting to hear from them as well.

    I REALLY HOPE this can be RESOLVED on the device itself as I do use this feature and this is an expensive watch to NOT be able to enjoy the features I bought it for. I’ve been a loyal Garmin device user for a VERY LONG time and this is my second Fenix-so I’m a Fenix fan for sure-I upgrade periodically and use them for a long time before upgrading.

    I’ll try what you have asked/suggested and post back in a few.

  • Okay-just went in and tried what you suggested-NO LUCK!

    I even tried switching the day a couple of times and went back to original format I had-totals did not return sadly. 
    I should also tell you that I have also powered the watch off and back on, connected to my laptop and synced the watch a couple of times, and I have also synced it a couple of times to Garmin Connect on my phone.

    So far, nothing has changed-totals VANISHED with the updateShrug tone2‍♀️

  • Hi Melisa, when you say all totals have gone, what exactly are you referring to? Are these the totals in the report on the Garmin Connect Portal?

    My Weekly and Monthly RUNNING TOTALS are what I’m referring to. When you go into Menu/History/Totals/Weekly/Monthly the Fenix keeps those current week and month totals there as well as previous weeks and months, they roll off as you enter a new month. The Fenix DID and SHOULD show those going back several weeks and months-apparently the latest update causes those to disappear! 

  • Interesting. I generally don't pay much attention to the totals and certainly not on my watch. I have from time to time looked at them in the Garmin Connect Portal by looking at the Reports. Can you check to see if they are at least available to you in the Reports section of the portal? Not sure if this will help.
