Fenix 3 Route Recording gaps

My Fenix 3 has suddenly stopped recording the same stretch of road from my home address. Subsequently it looks like I start a run around 1/3 of a mile from my house. This has only become a problem in the last couple of months. Any ideas anyone please?

1) Soft reset - with your Fenix 3 on, hold down your top left power button until it shuts off, then let go

Things you can try:

1) Soft reset - with your Fenix 3 on, hold down your top left power button until it shuts off, then let go

2) When starting an Outdoor activity, acquire GPS and give another 2-3 minutes before starting the recording of the activity

3) Sync your watch through Garmin Express on your computer to update the file working in tandem with the GPS satellites

Hiya - i've just spotted your post and it looks very similar to an issue that I am having - would you say its the same?

I ask because I've not found any thing similar to this and Garmin support have been a bit blase about it, but I have tried pretty much everything to resolve it - with no luck. If it is something that others are struggling with, then it gives me a bit more reassurance that its actually a software issue and not something else.
