in beta 13.24 there was Sensor Hub 6.61 in final release 13.30 it was 6.70?
Oh, wait, on the f5, they are combined into BLE/ANT/SNS
After installing 6.70 of BLE/ANT/SNS, the floors counting is highly unreliable. Sometimes it counts perfectly, sometimes it does not count floors at all. Is anyone else having similar problems?
Thanks for the info. I am using GPS+GALILEO, so that expains it
all GALILEO Satelites are out of Order since some days( rumours saying, they have big problems with the Atom time since a longer period) i have much better results with GPS only, espescially during running activites!
I don't have Windows or Garmin Express, so I checked and my watch has BLE/ANT/SNS firmware with 6.70 version. So it is updated via Garmin Connect or WiFi too.
It updates the Sensor hub and BLE/ANT+ chip. Sensor hub is used to collect data from sensors around the watch and process them without keeping the main CPU awake to save power. However, I don't know how the Garmin hardware and software functions, which sensors are controlled by this subsystem etc.... BLE/ANT chip has an Cortex M4 CPU inside, so that it can be good for the job. So it handles both data from some sensors and BLE/ANT connections.
