Backlight not working on key press

Version 7.60

Settings->System->Backlight->Not during activity->Keys->ON

Although Backlight should turn on any Key press not during activity, it doesn't. I am quite sure it worked on pre 7.60 versions.

Bug?

I had the same issue on my garmin descent MK1 , as I think it happened only since the last update applied version 10.10 , please help
