New F5 Owner: Button Question

Hey Guys,

I just purchased an F5 and have a question about the buttons. It seems that I have to press the buttons 3/4 of the way down before I get the click response. Is that how it's supposed to be? It seems a bit odd that I don't get the click response immediately after pressing the buttons.

Yes, my F5 is acting this way, i liked far more the feeling and materials of the v800.
