Flashing hr sensor

Hi,
I just noticed that my 5x hr sensor all led flashing repetedly in miliseconds, my wife 5s hr sensor led just flash like a lamp. Can somebody confirm the same about 5x?
Bought devices on latest non beta firmwares.

Strage that my old f3hr and wife new 5s like lamp till goes off. My 5x like stroboscope (the right word) too.

The fenix 5x takes a HR sample every second. The older 3HR every now and then. That's why the HR sensor on the 5X is more or less "always on".

I am not speaking about on /off flashing. I am speaking about stoboscopic flashing vs simple just falsh.

Mine does the same. When touching skin its stroboscopic flashing. If i take it off, it stops and then starts a slow on and off slow cycle - guessing to sense for contact again.

After update to 4.21 beta, stobascopic flash has gone. Working like 5s.

I just assumed it was something it was meant to do! Looking forward to the release of this patch - some nice features and fixes in it!
