Screen Protector (5X fit the 5?)

The screen size is the same on the 5 and 5X and I wanted a screen protector for my Slate Gray 5... I assume a 5X screen protector will work so I ordered this from Amazon. I don't see any tempered glass one for the 5 yet so I ordered the 5X version assuming it will fit..

It will be here tomorrow and I'll report back on if it fits...

I am pretty anti screen protector on a watch and usually buy sapphire versions of the watch. In this case however, I like the Slate Gray look -v- the black 5 sapphire.. I am hoping it fits and I am hoping it's basically invisible once installed...

I can highly recommend the Brotect AirGlass having used it on both an FR235 and VAHR, you can't tell it's there and it doesn't get scratched at all.

They have 42/47/51mm references for the F5

I looked at those but nothing in the US that I could find at least..

Also, not sure why they list them as different for the 5 and 5X. I realize the watches are different sizes but the screen sizes are exactly the same.. I guess I'll know tomorrow if the 5X protectos fit the 5..

If it helps, I can confirm that the Fenix 3 screen protectors fit the F5 perfectly.

This one is supposed to be good , after doing some research on these , I narrowed it down to this one.
I read some cases where some Shrunk with heat, yellowed with time, bubbled in certain temperatures and above all just pealed off after a while.
The IQ shield from what others have said really does a great job.

These ones.

I've tried taking a few pictures and honestly it is undetectable. The glass on the F5 seems much flatter than the F3 so there is no issues with edge lift. I'm guessing there will be some tempered glass options before long.

Thanks for the responses.. If I don't like the one I ordered from Amazon I'll try a different brand. Nice to know the fenix 3 ones will fit as they are everywhere..

I have used a F3 screen protector on the F5 and it fits.

The protector wasn't tempered glass one but there should be no reason why they wouldn't work either.
