Feature "Racing against a previous activity" has disappeared after software update 19.10

Since I updated my Fenix 5 plus, I lost the feature "racing against a previous activity". I was using it with "Ascension" activity.

Garmin support asked me to reset my watch.

So, now, not only it doesn't work better, but all my settings, personalization, etc, are gone... I will need several hours to try to configure again my watch to a state close to the previous one.

I'm upset.

How can I get the feature "racing against a previous activity" back?

Hi, I had already seen this procedure. The feature “race an activity” is not in the menu anymore. There are only 3 features left: my trainings, set a goal, training calendar.

I cannot send you a private message. Is says “access denied” on your profile.

Using a smartphone to try to send a Private Message is likely where the access denied came from. Thank you for the clarification of what you do still see in your Training menu.

I confirm the bug.
however, training against an activity is still present, but another procedure must be done (my watch is in Italian)

MENU
> RUN > OPTIONS > Activities (select activity) > GO

No, it's not the same. It's not the "race an activity" feature.

It' getting long... and my watch has again beeing updated to 19.10... I'm fed up of downgrading the OS...
