Emergency assistance

I had an issue where the emergency assistance didn’t work for me, until I removed an emoji in my Garmin Profile name. This is now working, but the beta feedback team messaged me about it. Now I don’t really want to mess with it as it’s now working for me and with autumn coming I will be running more in darkness.

is anyone else still having issues? If you are, message the beta firmware reporting address and pass on the info. I think in my case the receiving sms gateway didn’t like the emoji

I'm having trouble adding contacts.... Keeps asking me to add the +sign and my country code.....I then do that to the existing contact number.... and it still asks me for the same message..... I've managed to only add an email address... and one contact number. ... I'm running 8.40....

I'll give them a ring.....

Mine are of the form +44xxxxxxxxxxx without the leading zero, and rather than using existing phone contacts I created new ones within GC

I had the same issue when using existing contacts. Kept asking me to add the + sign etc. However, I then just created a new contact within Garmin inputting name and contact details and it worked.
