I have gone through and customized all the settings to get my step counter the most accurate but it is significantly off. Like before I get out of bed in the morning I will have like 300-400 steps already accounted for. Anyone have any tips to remedy this issue? TIA!
  • Step Counter -- Could you be sleep walking?
  • Bertbytheway what have you customised - I didn't think there was much that you could set as regards step counting? I certainly don't get that level of steps before I get out of bed - maybe 10 or 20. However the steps will accumulate on arm movements so if you spend 10 minutes patting the dog when you get up then you'd get steps for that - I also seem to get steps while I'm driving. Step counting is a very imprecise science especially when you are trying to detect a footstep with a device on your wrist so the watch has to make an educated guess as to what your doing with your feet based upon movements of your wrist so its bound to make quite alot of mistakes.
