Fenix 5s Plus delay/lag

I am experiencing a noticeable delay from pressing the start button to seeing the activity.
It happens both with garmin watch faces and with 3rd party.
It is about 2 seconds.

On the widget is about 1 second.

I had a fenix 5 and a vivoactive3, and I don't remember experiencing anything similar.

Does anybody else have the same issue?

Try rebooting the watch and seeing if the problem persists. My F5 Plus is significantly faster/responsive than my old F5

Yep. Still slow. I rebooted, reinstalled, and tried different watch faces. It has very noticeable lag.

If you are using a 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] party watch face, could you see if you still have any delay with one of the defaults Garmin watch faces that comes on the device? If that fixes the issue, post which watch face you were using with the delay.

It happens with both Garmin and 3rd party. I ended up returning the watch and upgrading to a fenix 5, as it fits my wrist better. No delays there. I am keeping this open for others.

Hello, I have a fenix 5 plus and with the 3rd party watchfaces I have the same problem, the delay is high and visible. For example when I click the button for select the activity, the screen change after 2 or 3 seconds. With the official wathcfaces I don't have the problem. I think a firmware update solve this problem.

Its a 3rd Party Watch Face issue for me....it can vary from about half to 1.5 seconds before the menu pops up depending on Watch Face being used. Garmin ones are pretty much instantaneous.
