Dive Logs are not adding up

I edit my dive logs in the Garmin web UI to indicate the correct number of dives. The next dive, the watch doesn't use the number. It shows the only total number of dives I did with the Descent MK1. And I have to go into the web portal and edit the dive number. Is this a normal behavior?

That's not the behaviour I see. Mine correctly increments the last dive # for the next dive. I can edit with either Connect Web or Mobile and it works. I used it recently when I got a bunch of non-dives (I was testing something).

I'm not sure why it isn't working for you.
