I hear you. 

I am a bit skeptical to be honest, after returning the 245 and 945 because of issues I am a bit afraid of spending almost 2K lol  Good thing is I have an oficial garmin store near me and 30 days return so if something goes wrong I can always take it back.... 

I wanted the Athlete I honestly do no see the benefit, at least the Expedition has the cool compass jajajajajaj. 

Let see, I plan on going to the store tomorrow and see them in person. 

They really are nicely built.  And it’s definitely improved over a F5+, just not $1,000 improved.

30-days is good.  It would have been enough time to return mine but I bought it from a fine jewelry store named after a disgraced Subway spokesman whose customer service added new words to my vocabulary.

Last thought, the 945 is basically the same thing on the inside from what I hear.  I only follow the 945 a little bit so I don’t know what kind of problems it’s having but I’d bet the MARQ would have them as well.

The only issue with the 945 is the buttons getting stuck and having a weird feel when pressed, Other than that it works fine 

Just purchased it at my local Garmin Store! This is by far the best watch I have ever wear! Love it
