I've tried the new beta. At the first look seems that it was good regarding the battery life .... but it doesn't improve too much. See below.

Shall I ask for a replacement?

Hi! I've got my watch in early December. Until 2.8 version it runs for 7 days with 2-3 short syncs and UltraTac and backlight 20%... Now no more than 2 days even more conservative. I've tried also the new beta ... but not an improvement.

Do you see some degradations of battery life after 2.8 upgrade?

    Hi,

Is it possible to do it on a Mac ? I tried to follow these instructions and my computer tells me that the disk space is insufficient on the device...

    Bests!

in the end point, this FW is working well but i have another issue:
    - still missing kickbike / footbike activity - its majority sport behind cykling most important then golf or boat or paddleboard? we need kickbike activity for GARMIN sporttesters, not only Instinct!
    - when i paused activity and hold down, i dont use GPS anymore like set time from GPS, take point or calibrate altitude
    - still missing set altitude graph for 6h, 8h,12h
    this is important isuue:
    - when i set Do not disturb, every alarm (buzzer) stops maybe thats ok, but when i disable Not disturb, first alarm after minute goes buzzing :( thats annoing
    - cant set in activity what senzor use for it, when dont need tempe or HRM or speed sensor, need it disabling - enabling before start activity and its wery annoing
  • Totally agree with you about having a Kickbike activity. Use mine every day and my custom activity isn't able to calculate calories burnt etc.

I have a question about the Mountain Bike activity feature on the Garmin Instinct. For some reason, the 'Elevation' plot has disappeared on the Connect app on my iPhone? I don't know why it did either? It was working fine and I could use the overlay feature as well with it, but then about a week ago, it just disappeared from being an option? It has removed the ability to plot it on all my previous rides as well.

I thought maybe I clicked something by mistake but I haven't been able to see what that may be. I tried a reset to default and that hasn't fixed it either.

Has anyone else this function? It is a pretty significant feature for me. It still works on the 'Hike', 'Climb', 'Walk' activities so I am a bit befuddled.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
