Can't get the correct tide times
I am stood on the beach. Set the tides location to my current location but all the tide times are still out.
Any ideas how to fix this or is it just terrible programming?

It doesn't work for me or the one other Garmin Instinct Surf owner I know so not sure where you are getting the 99% of watches work fine assertion.
Thank you for your response. I am constantly connected to my smart phone but tide data is always out no matter what I try.
Couldn't find the tidal info on world weather online but have sent them an email…
"Garmin chris" told me on this thread that garmin use NOAA for the states and world weather online for the rest of the world... I am in Cornwall, England.

Hi, sorry for the slow reply. Yes, somewhat unbelievably, the data did update and has been showing pretty accurately (compared against Magic Seaweed) for the past week.
Also, I explained to WWO that there were many others receiving inaccurate data and they invited people to contact [email protected]. The person who helped me was called Athar.
I spoke again with Garmin to see if they had actually done anything in 'investigating my Product Support Case' that I raised at the beginning of January. The advisor said that there had been a new note left on the case yesterday advising that Garmin were researching more accurate tide data providers. Whether that is true and how quickly any changes are made, who know...
Interesting. Just checked tides for Saunton - Westward Ho on my watch and Ilfracombe on magicseaweed - today's low tide is 12 minutes different .. that's close enough. Hope it lasts!
After I read you, I tried a new watch synchronization today to check, and always wrong for me... (France)
2 hours late for low tides.
1 hour late for high tides.
I will try to create a free trial account on WWO website as you explain, and send an e-mail to support in case of wrong data....
So, I don't understand how these database can be wrong just for some countries now, how the tide calculation is done by country, and why it's wrong since 2 weeks...
I have been dealing with Arthar. He informed me that the problem for my local area has been resolved. It is still an hour out. After several messages saying that it should now be working and no change at all. Arhar appeared to give up and say that my watch is not refreshing the data. I informed him that I have deleted all data, turned my phone and watch off and on again and have even tried connecting my watch to my partners phone only to get the same results. I also asked him to provide me with the tide data for my local coordinates but have just been ignored now.
Could anyone please provide me with the tide times shown on their watch for 8th Feb for these coordinates so that I can prove their is no fault my end.....

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help. It would be really appreciated

Someone did the same for me when I requested exactly the same thing a while back when dealing with WWO, repaying the favor here now (https://www.reddit.com/r/Garmininstinct/comments/pmpkbz/surf_need_some_help_from_instinct_solar_surf/)
Thanks guys. That's the same data that I have. It's almost exactly an hour behind what it should be. So I can figure out the tide times very easily but don't know how long it can be trusted for, unfortunately. Will have to be double checking these times for the foreseeable future which kind of makes the watch redundant anyway, for the time being at least
