My Fenix 6, 6X and Delta all charge from 20% to 100% in a couple hours. Instinct solar tactical arrived about 40% charged but took EIGHT HOURS to charge to 100% on same charger and cable.
Wondering if others experience same.

I don't have such problem and I am using my 1A phone charger or the USB ports of the computer (they provide 500 mA, I think).
However, I have noticed that sometimes the cable does not make good contact and even the charging icon disappears for a moment then comes back. It's not very easy to notice, because the icon may stay a bit longer, even if the cable is unplugged, so if the watch loses power for milliseconds every now and then, it won't display anything, but it will surely charge slower. Everyone complaining may be having the same issue.
Normally, mine charges in less than two hours.
Yes mine is taking more than 8 hours! it only happened recently and I wonder why? it used to take about 2hours to charge to 100 percent. Today its taking more than 10 hours and only at 70 percent. I'm using the original cable and an apple wall charger . same setup for past charges as well. can anybody help?
Even though nothing has changed try new charger and if no difference try new cable.
I bet it's the apple charger ;)
The best thing about solar devices is that you can charge them anytime the sun is out. You can even charge it with a daylight-set light source. It will take you approximately 3 to 5 minutes of charging to get you 24 hours’ worth of watch power. Solar gadgets have made work continuous; you don’t have to plug them on a charging device or to a convenience outlet every time the power runs low. This means that you just put your watch under a light source while working, driving, or when you’re not using it. The exposure of the gadget will recharge it without the need for constant checking or surveillance.
