I'm on the edge of purchasing an inReach Mini for my frequent hiking. And I understand that as I'm hiking that I can send messages to my wife to keep her updated and that she can send a reply to the message which I originated. But my question is this: Can my wife initiate/originate a message to me? She has medical problems and there is always the possibility that she would be the one with the emergency and would need to notify me of her situation while I'm out hiking. So again, can someone at home initiate/originate a message to the person out in the field?
