Definately a firmware issue . I also went back to stock watch face and battery drain still effected

Aldo For me I recharge battery yesterday evening, tomorrow at eight I went running and NOW battery is at 79%

It is quite egual to Apple Watch

My watch is still under warranty, I will send it to the after-sales service for malfunction

I think I found the source of the problem ... 
It's the measurement of the heart rate. Indeed, in the previous version, the twisted LEDs, now they are lit steadily with high brightness.
I'm going to do a test without the heart rate, and see the impact.

Sorry to hear that! It sounds like the problem with fenix 5 is different than fenix 5x. I don't have any clue , sorry. Does any body here with fenix 5 have it since around FW version 12, Garmin had the same issue. You may need to create different thread for the battery problem of fenix 5.

Just go through the different folders and check the files with the same names on your device and the beta version 20.0 and compare the dates of the files. Don't do anything else, just compare the dates. The files on your device that are older than the same files on the beta are under question. Write them down and let us know. I can't suggest anything else.
