I see someone else is getting too many calories, but I have the opposite problem. My Fenix 5x shows 347 active calories from an activity yesterday, but the Active/Resting Calorie count only showed 238 active calories for the whole day.

My active calories are still way off after the 15.10 update. For me they are showing as way higher than they should be. Active calories are 3-5x higher than before the update with similar activity levels…
same issue for me; calories too high
I've been in communication with Support, and sent them my data so the firmware engineers could look at the problem. They've said it may be a few weeks before I hear anything. Perhaps someone who…
Remember that the calories showed by any activity during or after workout are TOTAL calories (active + rest)
My watch shows total calories DURING an activity but most everywhere shows active/total AFTER the activity. Active and total are off on mine (low) compared to my Apple Watch by about 100-200 calories. When doing weight lifting. Using the running activity on the Garmin is pretty spot on with the Apple Watch calculations.
Has somebody with firmware 15.20 experienced that the calories miscount is solved?
I've been in communication with Support, and sent them my data so the firmware engineers could look at the problem. They've said it may be a few weeks before I hear anything. Perhaps someone who is getting a calorie overcount could contact them--I went in through Chat--so they have data for the other side of the problem as well?
I have been in touch with Garmin support regarding calorie overcount and authorized Garmin to investigate my account. I just hope the issue could be fixed soon.
Just to keep this up there. I've got 346 active calories since I woke up at 7am (It's now 10:19am). I only covered 1200 steps getting ready for work (which I drive to). I'm trying to use this for a calorie counting diet and this problem is messing it all up!
I have the same problem. I hiked 5.5 miles and my watch says I burned 216 calories. I should have burned 100 per mile
Check your activity class setting in Garmin Connect. Mine had been set to zero when it should have been a 6. Made a huge difference in calories burned once I changed it.
