Watch Broken at the hinge

Hi,

so out out of the blue, I see the thin rod that holds the watch strap broken, as in the attached pics. What options do I have ?

i bought the watch in 2017, so might be out of warranty.

Yes it's out of warranty but as someone said... you can get a refurbished model (looks completely new) from Garmin.... for a price of course!... about £180 here in the UK for me..... Just ring "product…

Exactly the same thing happened to me, I rode my bike to work and when I arrived it had broken in exactly the same place. Must be a weak point on the watch as it had no impact at all. Did anyone get an answer from garmin?

I got a reply from Garmin when I contacted them directly, asking me to send a receipt. I only bought the watch (Brand New) a year before that via eBay! Didn't hear a thing after that!
