So with my 3hr anytime I would get a notiification and my watch would vibrate.
For some reason, no matter what I do I cant get the 5 to vibrate on a notification, am I missing something?
I went through settings a couple times.
No idea what happened. I was messing with the WIFI on the watch and then all of sudden it said network error and then the watch screen had a circle around it and started spinning and showing UPDATING
and now the vibration is working
There is no way they sent a update out is there??? I dont know how the updates work
Did this happen after you changed the settings via the app? If so the "updating" could have been it pulling the new settings from the app!
Mine had the same issue but I narrowed the problem down to the settings. Somehow vibration got turned off.. Not in the phone notification setting as it was turned on there but it was turned off in Settings ---> Sounds ---> Vibration
After toggling that back on, it's working again. Not sure how it got turned off unless I did so by mistake when playing around with the watch..
It came turned off on mine as well. It's working fine after I turned it on though.
Raqball.. is your Fenix 5 the black color or slate grey? I don't have the red color marker on my start button and I'm wondering if it's because I have the black model.

My vibration turns off as well. I have it turned on, on the watch and the app. Every time I sync the setting goes off on the watch, even though it is still on on the app. Possibly a firmware issue.
While "messing with the WIFI" you started the firmware update on your watch. I guess the F5x comes with firmware version 2.00 out of the box while current version is 2.40. And by updating the FW you also got the vibration issue fixed as well.
Have you updated your firmware? What version are you at?

Just updated to 2.4 overnight, so I'll let you know if that fixed the problem.
Update: I double checked that vibration alert was turned on in the app in all places and on the watch. I got a vibration when receiving a notification. After a sync, vibration turned off again (under sound settings) on the watch.
