Car mode - Steps count

Dear GARMIN team,

1) why is not posible add "CAR mode" when the steps countig will be disable?
Turn on with GPS after up ti 20 km/h or with any shortcut.

2) Turn off dipslay. Display only dim but not turn off? It will be better for battery, This function have more inteligent clock.. :)

I use "POOL SWIMM" activity and i am obtaining step count :(

Hi all,

car mode is not fot battery saving, but it is crazy when I pass 200km by car and take me 500+ steps. I thind, any Car mode will by fine....

Display is OK, i found in store any options.. I am new user.. :)

Turning Off Activity Tracking

When you turn off activity tracking, your steps, floors climbed, intensity minutes, sleep tracking, and Move IQ events are not recorded.
1 Hold MENU.
2 Select Activity Tracking > Status > Off.
