7.60 Issues....

Hi,
Since the update I've noticed when rebooting the watch,the screen displays the text "loading maps"
and there is a progress bar...normal so far,
but the progress bar is stagnant,it remains empty of progress.
The maps still load,in the background,as they are present on the watch, and it hasn't caused any problems so far,any thoughts or remedies?

Also no Bluetooth disconnect/ reconnect vibe sound ot text....nothing.(it does it in the background) this could be GCM 4.2.2 related?
I also have other GCM related issues that I've posted in the right forum.
Anyway its early days yet,and this is all I've noticed so far.

Hmm, really weird. I'll turn off the F5 when I get home and do a double-check with the F235 and see if I can reproduce it again.

To be more precise - my wife have a separated Garmin Connect Account and own FR 235. I have my account and F5X. We have one Scale, used by us both.
I understand, that you have both watches linked to same account. The overwriting of data happens not only when uploading training, but much more often. Thus, if you have F5 linked to your account, it can overwrite weight data, even if not used for training. So you would need to disconnect your F5 from your account, to check, whether same happens with 235 or not.

After 7.60 F5X says it cannot authenticate maps upon restart. No maps visible, except for the basemap. There are no weird maps on the device, just what is was shipped with (EU cycle map), it does not show. Tried reinstalling the maps using express, still the same.

I went to the movies and noticed that now the screen is always on. It used not to be visible in the dark, which was a great feature. I've checked the backlight settings, it is as it is supposed to be: gestures off, keys on. But even when backlight is supposed to be off, it is dimmed, but on.

Any joy with after sunset settings?
alerts off?

You might try a master reset, and see if that sorts out the problem.
Also its a good idea to let Garmin know by giving them a ring or an email if your still having the issue.. .

After upgrade my fartlek countdown beeps between steps are gone.
any ideas how to get this back. Some other sound also gone.

I've got some new issues with sounds as well. No more beep when a gps signal has been acquired or when my HR strap is connected along with no beep for each auto-lap at 1 mile intervals on runs..

Any luck getting this sorted? I just opened a thread about it. Tested with 7.93 and still no joy.
