5X Sensor Cracks

While charging in unusually dim lighting this morning, I noticed hairline cracks on the face of the HR sensor. Panicking, I did some research and found this has happened before to people (like me) who have not damaged the sensor in any way. I have not dropped, smashed, or otherwise done anything to the underside of the watch. It is on my wrist 99% of the time. Sent an email to Garmin support this morning and hope they can address the issue quickly. I love this thing and hate the idea of being without it. ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1284467.jpg
  • Forerunner 935 here (basically a fenix 5 but with wifi), had the crack 6 weeks ago, watch gets replaced and now on the replacement, same problem...I can´t believe it,
  • It's sad. I was hoping that this problem would bypass me. In the sea did not bathe and do not use creams. (The watches were bought in November in Finland, gold contacts S/N 54H084... What is the best way to do: wait for the spread of cracks or wait and contact Garmin?

I have not dealt with this issue yet. I'm leaving for a week on vacation next week. As soon as I get back, I'll do it right away.

Today I wrote a letter in support. Waiting for an answer and further instructions.
