Same for me this morning. Updated yesterday to the latest beta and today morning on a 22km run I had 4 or 5 re-connects for all the NAT+ based sensors. (HRMrun2, Tempe, Stryd).
The graphics also show a different thing: There are some longer outages of data missing. Stryd-Data is fully present.

Will report this to the Beta-Team as well

I tried to turn off then on the watch but I had again some random sensor disconnect/re-connection that result in chunk of missed data in the various graphs on GC. I sent a possible bug report to the beta-team.
  • BUG: decimal digit is no longer displayed in temperature widget
  • I have not been able to sync with Garmin Connect on my MAC since the update. Instead of the full face % full charge indicator I get a little indicator at the top of the screen and no drive appearing on the MAC.

Same here - wasn't able to sync via Windows Garmin Express or even Connect Mobile - sent a Mobile sync log to the beta team and preserved the corrupted settings on a backup (pulled via Linux) if the beta team needs them. Other than that, a traumatic 'Reset To Default' fixed the issue.

The menus in self made apps doesn't work any more. There's something wrong in the menu leveling. Only the apps developed by Garmin seems to handle the menu correctly. All other apps act strange. Is this behaviour noticed by other developers?
  • Not sure if this is limited to the latest beta, but there is a cycling map update available through Garmin Express that fails to install for me and a few other users (see my thread). I've reported this to the beta team.
  • The "around me" feature is very slow, took about 30 seconds to get the map screen. As far as I remember, was that much quicker in former fw versions? Anybody else noticed this or is it just my 5x?

I found the offender of this issue: it is the Garmin Alpenvereinskarte together with fw 5.8x. Douple checked it with 2 Fenix 5x (for several times). If I delete the map, the around me feature is working quick/normal again. Mailed it to the fw team.

  • How does the stress score in this update relate to the stress score reported via the HRV stress app?

Edit: tested syncing with the HRV stress app. It does work now. Thank you for fixing this.

Cannot sync either....works every 4-6 times..... Very disturbing to make the test and then it fails to sync. And I do the test again directly.....and it fails....again. Frustrating!

    Otherwise....IT'S AWESOME! :)
