Anyone know how avg. resting heart rate calculated? While sleeping I am usually in the mid 40's according to the graph. 7 day average is in the mid 50's most of the time. So resting heart rate is not your sleeping heart rate?
It used to be the case that this was measured as your lowest heart rate reading during the day whilst awake - which is technically what RHR whould be according to most sources...
The only "bug" that I know of for this involves turning the watch off/on in the morning. It will then grab the lowest HR value it sees during the rest of the waking day as the RHR. I typically do this after I have synced my morning run.
I've thought of setting my sleep hours to all day to see if this does the same thing, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
