Watch faces with always on seconds are possible with connectIQ 2.3. Somehow the Line watch face is already released using this SDK and shows both weather from a background job and seconds always on. It's great.
As has been indicated previously to you, I do not think you will get temperature from tempe on a watch face in the foreseeable future.
Have the Line Watchface now because GearMin reseted again. Like the seconds always on what i dont like is that you only can use the weatherapp with creditcard.
Sadly no option to buy once with googleplay so seems they will charge credit card as they want.
Hope someone will make a watchface with ciq 2.3.0 with free weather or Tempe and seconds always on.

Today Line disappeard and was only able to run again with
new installation. I think accu weather widget is the fault cause it never shows any data and Line crashed after i switched to accu.
However i cant get weatherinfo or gps to work again.
Appkey is set and i tried to turn on gps with all widgets where is shows gps on in it.

Thank you jim worked perfect. Other thing i have your Tempe widget and was hoping with last update for 5x it will connect to Tempe faster. But Garmin didn't change anything for Tempe, but they said it has CIQ 2.3.1 support now. A friend has the f3hr and his Tempe is connected in 20 seconds when it takes long.
Is there any change that Garmin will fix Tempe connecting time with next updates?
The speed the temp connects is common between all Garmin watches I've used. It's just the way it works these days, and I doubt it will change. I think (in talking to someone I know that understands ANT+), it has to do with the mode used to connect, as it can't take over ANT+ and impact other sensors during that time. On a cell app, it can however take over ANT+, as it's the only device involved.
Is it possible to have a widget that acts like any activity and stays connected to Tempe but without GPS?
I like Line watchface, but the weather info shown in Watchface are totaly wrong.
So cool would be to start an activity where Tempe logs temperature without GPS on (way to work no need for gps).
I think it would save accu if GPS is off.
